Guesthouse Realty is located on the premises of the Guest House at Lost River, a 16-room mountain resort with an outstanding restaurant and bar.  Its clientele is primarily from the Washington/Baltimore area.  The Guest House has been identified by our real estate buyers as a fantastic "mouse trap". They see the lovely surroundings, incredible views, and warm, friendly people and think "this might be a great place to have a home".

How Guesthouse Realty Plans to Sell your Home:

The guest rooms at the Guest House at Lost River have a flyer about the real estate available in the area.  Each week we highlight a property, making sure that this flyer is always in the sight of the potential buyer.  We always drop off some of these flyers at the Craft Cooperative and Museum in Lost River.

  • We advertise in the Washington Post.  

  • We advertise in the Moorefield Examiner. 

  • We advertise in the Washington Blade.

  • We have your listing information on the MLS within 48 hours.  (Any member can show your home and sell it to their buyers.)

  • We place a plastic hanger with info about the house for "drivebys".

  • We personally contact local realtors to indicate to them that we have an extraordinary property that has just come on the market.
